As you see these photos, you’ll think— “Are they really on a mission?”
Yes! We are! And it is fun!—but exhausting! We do a lot of traveling— swapping out cars, picking up new ones, licensing and on and on. AND seeing missionaries— the best part!
Our great APs and Senior missionaries help whenever they can— picking up new vehicles and picking up repaired ones.
As we travel, we also deliver mail or packages that come to the office.
We were close to The Golden Gate Bridge, so we went to see it— magnificent!
Yes, we do spend time at the office, too.
And we spend time with great friends from the office and the Ward.
We’ve been able to attend the temple— it’s about 1.5 hours away— we are definitely spoiled at home!
On one of our ‘car swapping trips’ we met missionaries on their P-day, and the Eureka Seniors drove down to meet us— the buttercups were from a ‘back home’ picture.
Home— we’re missing this!!😔but grateful to be serving.
It is beautiful here— flowers, palm trees, vineyards, redwoods, the coast; but the people— young and seniors are such a blessing to be around and to be serving them and with them. Then they go home, or are transferred—which equals 😢. We love them!!
And yes!!! It is FUN!! And exhausting 🥰
